Caspersen Beach

Caspersen Beach in Venice, Florida

Caspersen Beach in Venice, FL is located just a 15-minute drive from Venice Beach Villas.

As the southernmost beach in Venice, Caspersen Beach is a local favorite. Not only is it a great place to find shark teeth and shells, but it also has over 1.5 miles of all-natural open beach where you can enjoy the clear blue and turquoise water. Many describe it as uncultivated, windswept, and secluded. You will also find a nature trail and see freshwater and saltwater marshes, mangrove areas, and tidal flats.

Even better, the beach may be left in its natural state, but there are public restrooms, paved parking, showers, fishing, a playground, and more! It is the perfect spot to bring the whole family for a day full of discovery and play or take a peaceful nature walk and enjoy the sea.

Finally, if the 1.5 miles isn’t long enough for you to enjoy the sounds and smells of the ocean, you can walk four miles to Manasota Key if you continue walking south, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see nests of sea turtles on your trek.
