First time to Venice Island, found this place through a friend. Seems like they're pretty booked up, but we snuck in for 3 days. We arrived after hours and our room was already prepared for us by the staff, who were easy to communicate with.
The room is cute! Felt like very personal, not corporate. I told my wife that "someone had clearly put a lot of thought into this place." For example, there was a flip up bedside shelf on the wall on my side of the bed, perfect for my phone, water, etc.
Two AC wall units kept our room at a chill 72. The showers got plenty hot and the pressure was great. Full fridge, kitchen stocked with everything you'd need to cook your own meals if you weren't planning to walk 5 minutes up the road to all the fun bars, restaurants, or coffee shops.
They have a heated pool on the property, and we enjoyed a lazy afternoon lounging around with a book.
The beach is about 10 minutes away from the restaurants, and a few mornings we joined the community beach yoga situation that happened daily at 8am. What a great way to start the morning!
The staff was super friendly and helpful, from the front desk person in the office, to the cleaning team. Good vibes all around.
Five stars. Really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

It was our first time staying in Venice Beach and I fell in love with it because of our stay at Venice Beach Villas! First, the team was so helpful in giving us tips for things to do. A 10 min walk to yoga on the beach in the morning. Less than 10 minutes into town for great breakfast and dinner. We stayed several nights and I loved having the living room to get work done during the day. Plus, loved the community vibes in town when we got breakfast and dinner.
I enjoyed several gorgeous walks because the location is absolutely perfect.
Plus having the fridge, pull out bed and roomy closet made it easy to settle in!
Can't wait to come back and hope to bring some friends

Outstanding location; walking distance to the beach, parks, shopping and great restaurant choices. Well-maintained property with new, recently installed HVAC systems. Nice swimming pool. Very friendly and responsive staff. The kind of place you hesitate to give a positive review because it may hinder your chance to book more time there.

Great place to stay while in Venice Florida Loved, loved, loved this place. First time visitors to the resort and we met Ken at the front office and he could not have been more accommodating and nicer to talk with. We arrived a little early and the room was ready early that day. It rained all weekend but the location and the room (#11) was great. Within walking distance of the shops and restaurants on Venice Ave. Room 11 - very spacious and everything you need. Would love to come back during the warmer months and try out the pool. If staying here, there are also other shops/restaurants on the street parallel to Venice Ave. on Miami Ave. West.

Cozy but comfortable This has been our go-to place for over a decade because of it's location and the wonderful staff, and it's pet-free which is a big plus for someone like me with pet allergies! Everything is within walking distance (the beach is a 5-minute walk one way and the shops and restaurants are a 5-minute walk the other way,) there are bikes you can borrow, as well as supplies like coolers and umbrellas for beach use. The pool is large and very well heated with complimentary pool towels so you don't have to pack any of these things! They have coin operated washers/dryers for guests to use and a lending library for books. Besides the small kitchenette, there are two large public gas grills for outdoor cooking and a gathering area to picnic or enjoy cocktails with other guests. Over the years, we have seen many changes to update the units and furnishings, however the bathrooms are generally small but do have everything you need. There are always things to do in the neighboring parks, farmer's market, walking tours, local churches, etc. Some of our favorite things to do are walking Venice Island or local Venice Beach looking for shells or sharks' teeth and eating lunch or dinner al fresco. Old style Florida at it's best!

What a perfect location. Just steps away from the Saturday morning market (that is fabulous), and not far from the beach. They have a nice pool, bikes, chairs etc you can use. The room we had was very large and nicely equipped. Keep in mind it's an older beach resort. We are looking forward to returning soon.
